Kabir Ke Dohe - Let us remember Kabir on the auspicious occasion of Guru Pournima.

Don't feel proud by looking at your palatial residence. Tommorow earth will be the bed and grass will grow on the stuff.

Don't feel proud, the claws of destiny operate in dark. None knows in what form may come the punishment for sins commited knowingly and unknowingly.

Nothing happens by our doing. Everything happens without our doing. Whatever seems to happen due to us is actually being done by someone else.

As the most crucial part of the eye is pupil, the most significant constituent of the body is the spirit. Fools do not understand this and try to find God outside.

When you were born in this world, you were crying and others were smiling. Your actions should not be such that people smile when you die.

When one is separated from his dear one then initially one suffers the pangs of separation, after that one develops thirst of love. This is the time when one sees the true wish for reunion.

The ocean is on fire but the smoke is not seen. One who burns in the fire of love understands this.

One should save that wealth which is valuable for the future. None is seen as being departed from this world carrying stock of material wealth on his head.

Lord Rama is so compassionate and benefactor of the poor that he made useless things like gold, diamond etc very dear. But at the same time necessities like water, air and food are cheap.






He who has a simple mind, simple words and simple actions, also has simple ways of loving God.



Bharata cannot have the ego even after acquiring the status of Brahma, Vishnu and Mahesh. How can a drop of any liquid spoil the sea of milk.





He who remains with his master does benefit of everyone. A cloud is formed of salty sea water but to others it gives amrut like sweet water. This becomes possible for the cloud because of its nearness to its Master i.e. the Sun.




Delicious amrutlike food to eat and that too unlimited. The whole kingdom is at the command and the head is not losing its balance. Our selfish needs are met and we are also able to discover our true self. This is very difficult to happen. But with Lord Rama's blessings it is possible.

On that day when your own people will desert you, you cannot look at anybody for help. When the water deserts a lotus, the sun who is otherwise a friend of lotus becomes its enemy and burns it.





On the earth, in the sky and inside the water animals and birds live with each other in groups. We should learn from them.



Persons who always carry teachings of their Mother, Father and Master on their heads and abide by the same, live a successful life. Otherwise life is wasted.





Grass on the banks of water is very humble. At times when the giant trees on the banks of the river are uprooted, the humble grass remain intact.






In this kaliyuga all persons discuss about the knowledge of spirit. These very same persons then kill their Guru for a single paisa. Then they say 'Who kills?' 'Who is Killed?' 'The spirit is eternal'.

 

A person while walking hits a stone and receives injury. He cannot do anything to the stone therefore he goes to his home and tears cushions in his home to pieces. In this Kaliyuga foolish persons like this will born in thousands and put their own people in grave trouble for their misdeeds outside their home.



In the rainy season the cuckoo keeps quiet because it thinks that now it is a time for frogs to make ugly sounds. Similarly in the bad times the bad people are at the top and the good people keep quiet.
