If one has a healthy mindset then he need not worry about the persons with whom he is associated. A sandalwood tree does not become poisonous inspite of being a residing place for snakes.




A person who has a sour mouth and always speaks harsh words should be asked to cut iron by his head to prove its toughness.


When a person faces short term problems he is greatly benefited as he gains clear understanding about the things that are in his interest and the things that are against his interest.







Do not break the thread of love by a jerk. Either it will be broken forever or will have a knot when tied.



If good persons are distanced from you then you should make all efforts to win back their hearts.

Kabir Ke Dohe 3 - Let us remember Kabir on the auspicious occasion of Guru Pournima.

Desire remains even if one dies. A person who expects pleasures through his wealth is tied in a bondage. A person who spends his wealth for the well being of others is liberated from the bondage.

One who does not understand what is said once and shouts back on being told twice, should be left in his condition without giving any suggestions.

If one wants to establish place in the minds of others then one should be ego-less, full of love and without malice.

Hair did no wrong. Why shaving the head time and again. Why not shave the mind where many weeds and impurities have grown.

Between the grinding stones of cravings and aversions the whole world is being crushed. Kabir weeps at the plight of the world as none is able to see the truth.

Kabir purified his mind and made it as pure as Ganga. Now everyone is after him saying 'Kabir Kabir'.

Everyone contemplates carefully in bad times. If one is not intoxicated in good times then there wont be any bad time.

Admire the diamond that can bear the hits of a hammer. Many deceptive preachers, when critically examined, turn out to be false. [Here diamond is siddhanta (the basic principles or doctrine).An experienced diamond cutter can hit the diamond using a chisel so that the chips will break off as expected. A diamond because if its crystalline structure tends to break off at specific angles. Similarly the true doctrine would come out shining when it is critically examined].

Don't open your diamonds in a vegetable market. Tie them in bundle and keep them in your heart, and go your own way. [Don't discuss gyan (knowledge) with those who can not understand it].

A diamond was laying in the street covered with dirt. Many fools passed by. Someone who knew diamonds picked it up. [Those who understand gyan-siddhanta (true knowledge/principles), pause to acquire it].

Kabir Ke Dohe 2 - Let us remember Kabir on the auspicious occasion of Guru Pournima.

Of what use your bigness is? You have grown tall like a Khajur (dates) tree. No shelter is provided to the passers-by and the fruits are out of everyone's reach.

A person who has read lot of books is not intelligent. A person who can understand others is intelligent.

Do not ask the caste of an intelligent person. Listen to what he says. The sword is of use and not the case where it is kept.

If I could reach Shri Hari by worshiping a stone then I will worship a mount. The stone in the form of a flour mill seems more valuable to me as it helps people feed.

Got constructed a mosque by putting together stones. Why the mulla is shouting at the top of his voice inside the mosque? Whether his khuda has become deaf?

A rosary (jap mala) is rotating in the hand and tongue swings in the mouth. But if the mind is moving in all the four directions then this is not a meditation of God.


It has been a long time since rosary is rotating in the hand but the rotation of the mind also continues. So one should rather control the bead of mind instead of the bead of rosary.

The rosary in the hand wants you to understand that instead of controlling it, the mind should be controlled.

When there was ego I could not see Shri Hari. Now when there is no ego, Shri Hari is visible. The light that I saw has dispelled all darkness.

So many rituals have been performed but Shri Ram could not be attained. What the name of Lord Rama can do when the mind is busy doing everything else.
